Spring Wine Makers Dinner at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery

Join us for a wonderful evening of cuisine and wine pairing at our 2010 Spring Wine Maker’s Dinner taking place during the Okanagan Spring Wine Festival. Enjoy a delectable 5 course meal starting with our famous cellar reception set amid the wonderful aromas and surroundings of our barrel caves. Subsequent courses will be served in the Sonora Room Restaurant; each course being paired with our best Burrowing Owl varieties and vintages. Throughout the evening, our exceptional wine making and culinary teams will explain the pairings and wine making techniques that make our wines unique. Our favorite harpist, Ingrid, is set to create a soothing ambiance with her wonderful assortment of classical and modern live music.

Throughout their adventurous, ten-year partnership, Forbidden Flutes has developed a personal sound and a unique vision for their ensemble that is distinct and intimate. Whether flying through the virtuosic passages of opera fantasies, improvising ornaments on Bach Inventions, rocking the rhythms of Radiohead, or weaving together luscious tango tones, one can not tell where Liesa’s flute begins and Laura’s ends.
